How to use agentic general tools
We have normalized the pieces an agent usually needs in any sector: documents, communication, charges, deliveries and connections. Each tool can be used with the application’s implementation, with a third party’s or with one of your own, depending on the functionality and the availability of the system you choose.
The tools the application uses must meet a compatibility schema (API schema) to be connected; if they do not meet it, they are not used. Credentials can be yours or a third party’s: when a third party provides them, their use is also subject to that third party’s terms and conditions.
You can use open-source tools, develop your own from your organization’s programming team, or commission the development to connect your systems with the application. Nothing is tied to a vendor: the same schema works for anyone who meets it.
How the tools work
The agent requests a tool, the tool validates that the schema is compatible and executes it against the external or internal system you decide. The database can live in your infrastructure or in an external service, and the tool only reads or writes what the permission allows. Every call goes into the account usage log, with time, origin and system; if something fails, it returns the error and does not invent a confirmation.
How to use the tools
GEN-T01 Documents
Creates, edits and organizes text documents, spreadsheets and presentations. The tool covers the full cycle, from draft to final file, and works with the OpenDocument format. You can use the application’s engine or connect your own if it meets the schema.
Features: text · spreadsheets · presentations · OpenDocument · full cycle.
GEN-T02 Multimedia
Creates, edits, organizes and deletes images and videos. The tool covers the full cycle of multimedia material and reports every operation. The application’s engine or your provider works, if it meets the schema.
Features: images · video · editing · thumbnails · formats.
GEN-T03 Messaging
Gathers messaging channels in a single tool: SMS, instant messaging and notifications. It applies the template, sends over the channel you choose and reports delivery. The application’s implementation or your provider works, if it meets the schema.
Features: SMS · instant messaging · notifications · templates · delivery confirmation.
GEN-T04 Email
Sends the agent’s operational email: confirmations, receipts and notices. It is not a marketing channel; commercial communication lives in its own tool. You can use the application’s server or your own if it meets the schema.
Features: templates · attachments · open tracking · operational use.
GEN-T05 Voice calls
Places calls for spoken notices and confirmations by phone. The call goes out through a telephony provider: it can be the one the application offers or another compatible one, and you choose which.
Features: spoken notices · automatic dialing · call log · provider of your choice.
GEN-T06 Video conferencing
Opens video rooms and shares the link with whoever you need. It works with the application’s service or with your provider if it meets the schema, and logs the start and end of each session.
Features: room · link · optional recording · closeout.
GEN-T07 Schedule and appointments
Coordinates your operation’s slots without leaving the agent’s flow: creates, moves and cancels appointments, and warns when a slot frees up. You can use the application’s schedule or connect your own if its API meets the schema.
Features: locations · reminders · rescheduling · waiting list.
GEN-T08 Charges and payments
Manages the charge and payment data: amount, currency, link and reconciliation. The validation and the movement are executed by the connected gateway, whether the application’s unified one or yours if it meets the schema.
Features: charge and payment · payment link · reconciliation · receipt · gateway of your choice.
GEN-T09 Invoicing
Orders the invoicing data and transports it with the country adapter toward the connected provider, who issues the receipt. You can use the application’s provider or your own if it meets the schema.
Features: base schema · country adapter · taxes · send to provider.
GEN-T10 Electronic signature
Manages the signature request and tracking; the signature is executed by the connected provider, whether the application’s or yours if it meets the schema. The signed version stays available to the agent.
Features: documents · request · tracking · provider sealing.
GEN-T11 Deliveries
Registers deliveries, tracks them and confirms reception. The tool connects with logistics operators, your own or third parties, if they meet the schema, and reports every status change.
Features: delivery registration · tracking · confirmation · operator of your choice.
GEN-T12 Routes and maps
Calculates routes, locates addresses and tracks positions in progress. Besides addresses, it delivers location and position intended for robots too. It uses the map provider you choose, the application’s or another compatible one.
Features: geocoding · location and position · stop optimization · tracking · provider of your choice.
GEN-T13 Reports and dashboards
Delivers reports and dashboards with the account data: the report is a file built from a template and the dashboard is a live view by widgets. The engine can be the application’s or your own analytics tool if it meets the schema.
Features: templates · queries by metrics and dimensions · export · live view.
GEN-T14 API Connect
Lets the agent execute tasks outside the platform against your APIs: create an order, update a system, move a machine. The connection uses API key or OAuth 2.1 depending on the service, and every sensitive operation asks for approval before going out, so control stays with your team or your server.
Features: declared operations · approval per operation · API key or OAuth 2.1 · logging and retries.
GEN-T15 Webhook connectors
Receives events from your systems by webhook: validates the signature, queues the event and retries if something fails. The credential the system demands can be API key or OAuth 2.1, as the case requires. This is the inbound path; the outbound one is API Connect.
Features: registration · signature and credential · retries · logbook.
