How to build an agent for roads
You can build an agent that follows the cycle of a road from start to finish: planning and design, construction, maintenance and removal or demolition, with the record of every stage. It covers normal and green roads, and land, sea and air roads, each one with its alignment and its controls; space roads remain in the space area. These pieces and steps are the starting point, and you assemble them on natuleadan.app, on another platform that connects your equipment, or with open-source pieces, without being tied to a vendor.
The agent works for the roads operation: the roads lead decides which sections enter the follow-up and with which limits. Tools with restricted access, such as the surveying or the field tests, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the approved design, the works progress, the maintenance state and the removal events per section, and compares them with the configured limits. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When a deviation or a breach appears, it stops and waits for the lead’s indication before moving a section or adjusting the plan; if the case is critical, it notifies the construction team. Every progress item is noted with time, section and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any shift.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the roads dashboard, handle escalated cases and adjust limits, sections and recipients when the operation changes. The agent never closes a section or orders a removal on its own and always escalates the deviation. You can pause a section or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
In roads, the BIM model, the surveying and the earthmoving, and the demolition and the removal are connected, in addition to the notice channels to the roads lead and the construction team, which can be made of people or robots. When the case calls for it, the site safety, the quality inspection and the traceability are added to close the history of every section, along with the construction reports that order the shift.
