How to build an agent for space
You can build an agent that follows the cycle of a space operation from start to finish: planning, launch, operation and closure, with the record of every stage. The launch, the satellites, the missions and the telescopes enter through the tools, not as separate agents. The agent works for the space operation: the mission lead decides which operations enter the follow-up and with which limits. Tools with restricted access, such as the orbital tracking or the telemetry, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the operation plan, the state of the vehicle and the telemetry per stage, and compares them with the configured limits. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When a deviation or an event appears, it stops and waits for the lead’s indication before moving a window or adjusting the plan; if the case is critical, it notifies the mission team. Every progress item is noted with time, stage and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any shift.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the operation dashboard, handle escalated cases and adjust limits, stages and recipients when the operation changes. The agent never moves a window on its own and always escalates the deviation. You can pause a stage or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
