How to build an agent for soil
You can assemble an agent that follows the soil cycle from start to finish: sampling, analysis, diagnosis and management, with the record of every stage. These pieces and steps are the starting point, and you assemble them on natuleadan.app, on another platform that connects your equipment, or with open-source pieces, without being tied to a vendor.
The agent works for the soil management: the soil manager decides which points enter the follow-up and with which thresholds. Tools with restricted access, such as the laboratory or the equipment, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the samples, the nutrients and the indicators per point, and compares them with the configured thresholds. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When an erosion or a deviation appears, it stops and waits for the manager’s indication before ordering an amendment; if the case is critical, it notifies the network crew. Every record is noted with time, point and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any campaign.
How to use the agent
With the points connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the soil dashboard, handle escalated cases and adjust thresholds, points and recipients when the campaign changes. The agent never orders an amendment on its own and always escalates the deviation. You can pause a point or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
In soil, the monitoring equipment, the multiparameter quality and the scheduled sampling are connected, in addition to the notice channels to the soil manager and the network crew, which can be made of people or robots. When the case calls for it, the environmental reports, the traceability and the sorting are added to close the history of every campaign, along with the periodic summaries that order the management.
The contents of the tools must meet the system’s parameters to be usable inside the application: data format, permissions and response times. Our application solves that connection; you can also assemble it with third-party programs or use the application online.
