The agent works for the ranching operation: the rancher decides which lots and sheds enter the follow-up and with which thresholds. Feeding, animal health and milking are connected as tools of the area; the agent uses them when the case calls for it, together with the rest of the panorama. Tools with restricted access, such as the health record or the laboratory, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the data from the herd (weight, health and feeders) and from grazing, and compares them with the thresholds configured per animal lot. It decides whether to record, recommend or escalate. When a finding calls for it, it stops and waits for the rancher’s confirmation before moving the herd or scheduling a check; if the case is critical, it notifies the field crew. Every reading is recorded with time, lot and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any stage of the cycle.
How to use the agent
With the feeders and sensors connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the herd report, handle escalated cases and adjust thresholds, lots and recipients when the handling changes. The agent never moves the herd on its own and always escalates the finding. You can pause an animal lot’s follow-up and resume it without losing its history.
