How to build an agent for emergencies
You can build a specialist agent in emergencies and urgencies that follows the whole flow from start to finish: early detection, notice, response and closure, with the record of every stage. It covers the edges of the case, such as fire, earthquakes, evacuation and first aid, according to what you connect. The agent works for the emergency operation: the emergency lead decides which zones enter the follow-up and with which limits. Tools with restricted access, such as the fire detection or the evacuation routes, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the early detection signals, the state of the brigade and the notices from the zones, and compares them with the configured limits. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When an event or an urgency appears, it stops and waits for the lead’s indication before activating a protocol or moving a brigade; if the case is critical, it notifies the monitoring center. Every event is recorded with time, zone and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any shift.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the emergency dashboard, handle escalated cases and adjust limits, zones and recipients when the operation changes. The agent never activates a brigade on its own and always escalates the event. You can pause a zone or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
In emergencies, the cameras for the response during earthquakes and emergency events, the fire detection, the emergency brigades and the evacuation and drills are connected, in addition to the notice channels to the emergency lead and the monitoring center, which can be made of people or robots.
