How to build an agent for confectionery
You can assemble an agent that follows the confectionery cycle from start to finish: sugars and doughs, cooking, molding, cooling, packing and dispatch, with the record of every stage. These pieces and steps are the starting point, and you assemble them on natuleadan.app, on another platform that connects your equipment, or with open-source pieces, without being tied to a vendor.
The agent works for the confectionery plant: the person in charge decides which lots enter the follow-up and with which limits. Tools with restricted access, such as the laboratory or the lot record, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the cooking temperatures, the molding times and the state of the cooling, and compares them with the limits configured per lot. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When a control goes out of the limit, it stops and waits for the person in charge’s indication before releasing or holding the lot; if the case is critical, it notifies the shift team. Every reading is recorded with time, lot and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any stage of the cycle.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the plant report, handle escalated cases and adjust limits, lots and recipients when the process changes. The agent never releases a lot on its own and always escalates the deviation. You can pause a line or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
In confectionery, the cooking and the molding, the formulation and the packing are connected, in addition to the notice channels to the person in charge and the shift team, which can be made of people or robots. When the case calls for it, the allergen control, the cleaning and the calibration are added to sustain the cycle, along with the periodic summaries that order the plant.
The contents of the tools must meet the system’s parameters to be usable inside the application: data format, permissions and response times. Our application solves that connection; you can also assemble it with third-party programs or use the application online.
