How to build an agent for cloud
You can build an agent that follows the cycle of a fleet of interconnected computers in the cloud: services, clusters, backups, costs and scaling, with the record of every stage. These pieces and steps are the starting point, and you assemble them on natuleadan.app, on another platform that connects your equipment, or with open-source pieces, without being tied to a vendor.
The agent works for the cloud operation: the platform lead decides which services and environments enter the follow-up and with which limits. Tools with restricted access, such as the costs or the consoles, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the status of the services, the cluster nodes and the costs per environment, and compares them with the configured limits. It decides whether to record, notify or escalate. When an outage or a cost deviation appears, it stops and waits for the lead’s indication before scaling a cluster or restoring a backup; if the case is critical, it notifies the operations guard. Every reading is recorded with time, environment and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any workday.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the platform dashboard, handle escalated cases and adjust limits, environments and recipients when the operation changes. The agent never resizes a service on its own and always notifies the deviation. You can pause an environment or remove it from the program without losing its history.
Which tools you can connect
Connecting these tools is not just pasting an API: every connector goes through a normalization process so the data arrives in the same format, and the connection type (API, webhook or file), the security rules and the backup are defined. Your team’s infrastructure also comes in: who manages the credentials, where the connector runs and how it is monitored.
