How to build an agent for biochemists

The agent works for the laboratory: the biochemist decides which runs enter the follow-up and with which criteria. Tools with restricted access, such as the laboratory’s record or the media preparation, are verified on demand when needed and may be subject to other terms and conditions.
How the agent works
The agent receives the analyzer’s results, compares them with the configured ranges and with the day’s quality controls. It decides whether to record, inform or escalate. When a critical value appears, it stops and asks for the biochemist’s order before repeating the sample or marking it for review. Every evaluation is recorded with time, data and result, and the history makes it possible to reconstruct any run.
How to use the agent
With the equipment connected or manual upload enabled, your routine is to review the report, handle escalated cases and adjust ranges, panels and recipients when the protocol changes. The agent never validates a result on its own and always escalates out of control. You can pause a panel’s follow-up or remove it from the program without losing its history.
